Updates about Clyde River struggles

10983382_956856111013995_1657194117265385976_nToday, the community of Clyde River goes against the National Energy Board in the Federal Court of Appeals. They need our help to raise awareness, and bring justice to the community!

If you are in Toronto, on Monday April 20th, there will be a rally and Arctic Feast at noon outside the courtroom at 180 Queen St! The trial is open to the public, and is in courtroom 7C!
If you are in Iqaluit, there will be a live-feed of the trial at the courthouse in courtroom 2!

The YAC continues to show support and solidarity to the community of Clyde River in their efforts defend the Arctic environment against Seismic Testing. 

This information session hosted in Toronto last Thursday talked about the efforts of Clyde Rivers effort, and the next steps in this campaign! Jerry Natanine, Mayor of Clyde River even brought down some Arctic Char to try! ‪#‎WeStandWithClydeRiver‬

The Youth Arctic Coalition and youth from around the would like to show their support and stand in solidarity with Clyde River. The YAC has brought youth from all corners of the world to say ‘not now’ to seismic testing in Baffin Bay, just outside of the community of Clyde River.
